Mechanical, hydropneumatic and hydraulic vices for drills and drilling/milling machines
MRF/59 HYDROPNEUMATIC VICE
BREAKING LOAD: Rmin = 26
ELONGATION %: A% = 1
The mechanical specifications of this vice are the same as those of the manual MTF/59 model.
A hydropneumatic pressure intensifier fitted to the central screw controls the automatic opening and closing of the vice through a pedal valve; this type of vice is essential for mass production machining operations, not exceptionally heavy milling and drilling operations.
The hydropneumatic unit operates on compressed air, max. 6 bar, and the clamping force obtained by the intensification of air/oil goes from 0 to 1800 kg and can be adjusted by reducing incoming air pressure.
The automatic closing stroke is purposely limited to about 4 mm in order to comply with the accident prevention standards. The pedal valve can be replaced by a 5-way solenoid valve, therefore this model can be used in a work schedule with automatic machine tools.
This model is fitted with ground flat jaws made of casehardened and tempered steel. Prismatic jaws to clamp cylindrical pieces are available on request. The vice comes ready for use with the pedal pump, pressure reducer with gauge, rubber tubes, oil fill tank and an exhaustive instruction manual.
