It can be positioned either horizontally or vertically and its use on modern machine tools is therefore very versatile.
It rapidly divides the 360º in 24 fixed positions at 15º intervals by means of an internal toothed indexing plate and a positioning pin which can be operated manually. The surface rotation device is also manual. Two lateral locking systems allow the rotating surface to be rapidly locked in positions other than those preset by the toothed indexing plate.
The dividing table is supplied with a cast iron self-centering single guide chuck with 3 + 3 jaws having the same diameter as the rotating surface.
